Sponge Bath Support

There are a lot of options when it comes to bathing a newborn. Some of them are excessively large and expensive, adding unnecessary complexity to what should be a fairly basic process.

That’s why we’ve always gone for a bath sponge, a very simple bit of kit that allows you to just run a shallow bath, lay your baby down and give them a little rinse, immersed in nice warm water. For obvious reasons this is preferable to having a separate baby bath inside your bath, or a seat that props them up and leaves most of their body out of the water.

The foam doesn’t last forever so you will need to buy a new one after each baby, but they’re the kind of price that allows for such disposability. It’s comfortable for your baby, inexpensive for you, and won’t take up a corner of the bathroom when it’s not in use.
