Kegel8® Ultra Vitality Pelvic Floor Exerciser / Toner

£148.99

The Kegel8 Ultra Vitality pelvic floor exerciser comes with the Pelviline Probe and is essentially targeted at improving your sex life (or ‘intimate sensation’ as Kegel8 put it). It’s wider than most standard probes and therefore easier to keep in place, making exercising easier.

The Kegel8 Ultra Vitality has 12 programmes that cover a wide range of pelvic floor problems, all of which work by strengthening the pelvic floor muscles. Like the other Kegel8 in our top five and the TensCare itouch, It’s an NMES (Neuromuscular Electronic Stimulator), which means that it produces electronic pulses to automatically make your pelvic floor muscles relax and contract.

7 reasons to buy the Kegel8 Ultra Vitality

+ The Kegel8 Ultra Vitality pelvic floor exerciser comes with the Pelviline probe, which is wider than most standard probes and therefore easier to keep in place, ensuring it can target the right muscles every time.

+ The Pelviline probe is particularly suitable if you are suffering pelvic organ prolapse, and it has an adjustable hilt, ensuring that you can insert it to exactly the right depth.

+ The Pelviline probe is also lightweight, which adds to its comfort – if a probe is too heavy it can put pressure on the wrong areas abe tricky to keep inside. No such issues here.

+ The Kegel8 Ultra Vitality pelvic floor exerciser is the only Kegel8 product to feature the ‘Vitality’ programme. This is a programme specifically designed to revitalise your sex life by improving intimate sensation, helping vaginal muscle tone and improving the ‘squeezability’ of your pelvic floor muscles.

+ It features 12 exercise programmes (including ‘Vitality’), which are designed to help:

Pain relief
Urge incontinence
Prolapse
Stress incontinence
Frequency incontinence
New mothers
Lack of sensitivity
Pelvic floor workout
Endurance
Relaxation
There are also two customisable programmes

+ You may prefer a NMES (Neuromuscular Electronic Stimulator) over a biofeedback device such as the Elvie or Kgoal as they allow for a more ‘passive’ workout i.e. you’re not required to do any squeezing or tensing yourself, it does it for you.

+ Some pelvic floor exercisers make beeps and noises, which can make discretion a little tricky if you’re anywhere other than at home. The Kegel8 Ultra Vitality is totally silent, so in theory you could do a workout in the office (and just hope nobody asks you to go into a meeting!)

2 reasons not to buy the Kegel8 Ultra Vitality

– In comparison to Elvie and kGoal, the main unit isn’t amazingly user friendly. If you haven’t got your wits about you it’s quite possible to get confused. However there are youtube videos to walk you through it, so you should get there in the end.

– It’s not a cheap piece of kit, in fact it’s the same price as the Elvie, which in our opinion is a better designed product, but if you’re keen on an NMES device rather than a biofeedback one, this is a good bet.

Conclusion

Whilst the Kegel8 Ultra Vitality pelvic floor exerciser has a unique angle of improving your sex life, in reality this is a happy side-effect of any good pelvic floor exerciser, so it’s hard to recommend this over the Kegel8 Ultra 20 or any of the other pelvic floor exercisers in our top five. However, if you want to know that exactly the right muscles are being targeted to ensure everyone has a good time, then go for the Vitality.
