Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo
The Jumperoo is famous in parenting circles for the HOURS it will keep a baby enthralled. This has (deservedly) earned it the fabulous nickname ‘The circle of neglect’.
It’s a love it or hate it kind of a product and only you can decide whether you want one in your house, but it’s hard to argue with the sheer number of sights and sounds it offers its lucky inhabitant.
It has an adjustable seat, so you can keep their legs at the right height as they grow. It also allows babies to spin themselves through 360 degrees and play with the bits and bobs that are available at every angle. The Jumperoo is great for developing hand-eye coordination and leg strength and is widely acknowledged to be heaps of fun.
It does require batteries as it (obviously) has lights, noises and music. There’s also a volume button, which just might stop you going insane.
It does have quite a large footprint and although it does flatten, you’re much more likely to leave it out every night as you will use it everyday. So before you commit, it’s probably worth deciding how you feel about it being a permanent fixture of your living room.
KEY FEATURE: Entertainment (for baby, not you).
