The Ergobaby is a brilliant carrier that keeps the pressure off a baby’s still-developing spine and pelvis and is extremely comfortable for you.
The 360 allows you to carry your little one in four ergonomic positions: on your front (either facing you or the world), on your hip and on your back. You will get a sense of what feels right for you at the time – when they’re younger, front carrying seems more appealing, and as they get older, having them on your back is generally easier.
The Infant Insert is needed for babies up to 4-5 months old and provides the necessary head and neck support for newborns and should be used until they have developed neck control.
The Ergobaby 360 has an extra wide waistband, padded shoulder straps and a hood which allows your baby shade in the sun or a cosy snooze. It’s easy to put on (once you’ve got the hang of it) and just feels like you’re carrying a rucksack with limbs.
It is more expensive than the Ergobaby original, but this is largely due to the option of being able to carry your baby facing forwards, which is a real bonus as it gives them a very entertaining outing. If you can justify the price tag, it will be your go-to carrier for years.
